July.

July came & gone. Mummy & Daddy were very busy to say the very least. One of the reasons was because there was a wedding! Mummy lovesss this picture of me, so, I've decided to share it with all of you. It was taken on 31stJuly. Enjoy!

Wires are fun???

Note: Babies should NEVER be left alone unsupervised! Ally was closely watched when she was handling those wires. Be safe always!! :)

I'm as SOLID as my solids.

I had my first taste of solids yesterday. Organic rice & quinoa was on the menu. I managed 3tsps. YAY!!

First trip to KL.

Mummy & Daddy brought me to KL last weekend. My very first trip to KL was pretty good. We met up with Uncle Nelson for a bit of lunch before we adjourned to the baby fair. Mummy got me a bunch of new clothing & lots of organic creams & cleansers. I even met Alice & her friends in Wonderland. I'm a happy baby :)

Laughter's the best medicine.

I just found out that my laughs can get louder than I thought. I was playing with Kakak while Mummy recorded this short clip. HeheHeeeee...

BabyK turned 4months a few days back.

Yippee!! And what a milestone it has been especially for me...
Grandpa and Grandma are away for 3weeks, they are touring Central America. It's funny how GrandPa always spells my name wrongly & AhYeeVan will makes a joke out of it.


Grandpa still emails Mummy when he has the time in Central America, in the latest email, as usual, he called me Kaylan. I bet if AhYeeVan sees this she'll be saying "Kaylan then KaiLan" *LOL* Like Grandma has warned Mummy before I was named. Kaylen will one day be called KaiLan which is also a chinese vege...
Oh well, at least I'll love my greens :)

GrandMa bought me a new toy.

The latest favourite toy of mine must be the one GrandMa bought during her trip to Dubai. It has plenty of new sounds I haven't heard before, there's a cute mousey attached, a bird with adorable wings, a heart shaped cushion which rings and a house that they can all live in. Oh and, did I mention that it doesn't taste all that bad ahahaha...

vyc: Kaylen's growing up fast. Too fast, honestly.

I find myself spoiling her more and more as each day passes. I guess I want her to remain a baby forever. She's at such a cute age. Just today we brought her to the doc's for one of her jabs and boy has she grown. Even the doc's surprised with her weigh gain and height. Not that she's too "chubby". She's doing good, a little bit on the "cuter" side but adequate to her height of 64cm, which is, slightly longer than babies her age. All I can say is that she took her jab better than expected, even better than the last time a month ago and it just shows how much she has grown. She's so much braver this time round. And yes, one might say, how would you know, babies are still babies, they just cry when they feel pain, but believe me a mother knows :)


I found myself spoiling her today by carrying her in my arms for hours just so she'll sleep better and allowing her to lay on my chest. Altho, apparently, it's a no-no cos it'll end up being a habit = bad habit = hard to break = babyK will not sleep in her own cot for long by herself = a more "manja-ed" baby = wants to be carried all the time...and the list goes on but, somehow I feel like I should reward her for being so brave today, or, maybe, it's just me wanting her to be close to me. To listen to her tiny heart beating against mine, her soft sighs, the peacefulness. She brings me peace, so maybe I'm actually spoiling myself :)

Potty training.

Yes! You heard it from here first. Mummy & Grandma said that I'm old enough. And so, I started my potty training once a day every morning since I turned two months old. I've since gotten the hang of things & so the number of times I'm on the potty have increased to twice a day. I've another "go" in the evenings, just before my favourite bathtime :)

Mummy bought me a super 3 in 1 Safety 1st potty. I love it! It has a cushiony sit so it doesn't hurt my cute lil bum when I take my time tehehe...She also rewarded me with a Petit Bateau swimsuit for being such a good girl. Mummy's so proud of me :)

YAY! I'm TWO MONTHS old today & I've been busy getting to know my toys better this past few days.

However, I still don't understand why they don't talk back.

A Happy New Year & A Happier Anniversary!

Time sure flies. It was this very day last year that Mummy & Daddy got married. I was conceived the month after & Mummy found out the next month after that (or in Mummy's words "OMG! I PREGNANT!!!")

In some ways both of them were pretty shocked cos they weren't even trying & weren't even planning for a baby (as cute as me). According to them, they said they initially wanted for things to settle down & only start trying this year. They call me their miracle baby. Mummy found faith again & she believes it was faith that brought us all together & she thanks God everyday, although she was "in shock" for a pretty long time, & wasn't prepared for the changes she was about to go through. She feels so blessed to have me and in some ways having me has helped strengthen their marriage.
